"We built this tool with one principle in mind: your business data belongs to you, not us. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why."
FoodCount is designed as an offline-first utility. All of your operational data—including recipe costs, ingredient lists, inventory stock levels, and sales logs—lives entirely on your device via SwiftData.
We maintain no remote servers, no backend databases, and have absolutely no access to your revenue data.
If you utilize iCloud, Apple may securely sync your data across your personal devices to provide a backup, but this transaction is purely between you and Apple. We cannot read, access, or restore this data.
Because your privacy and business confidentiality are paramount, we explicitly do not collect:
Payments: All premium subscription payments are handled completely by Apple (via RevenueCat and StoreKit). We never see, process, or store your credit card information or billing address.
Notifications: Low-stock alerts and inventory warnings are generated locally by your device itself. They are not pushed from a remote server, ensuring that your inventory state remains entirely private.
If you have any questions regarding this privacy policy, data practices, or need support regarding the app, please contact the developer directly.
